Ghandruk Ghorepani Trekking Hiking

Ghandruk Ghorepani trekking is in the Annapurna region which is in the north-central part of Nepal. Ghorepani and Ghandruk are the two separate villages in the Development Committee. Ghorepani is famous for rhododendron forest as well as the fantastic panoramic sunrise, sunset views from Pun Hill 3210 meter which is one hour climb from Ghorepani. A heady mix of flora & fauna, landscape and culture.

Guest House/ Hotel - 3 nights in Kathmandu, 2 nights Pokhara, 4 nights during the trekking.

Day 1 - Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu meet Asian Hiking Team staff and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu, final payment, join staff meeting with welcome dinner, overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 - Sightseeing & final preparation for trekking
City sightseeing with tour guide; Kathmandu is the colorful of Nepal, a fascinating blend of rational architecture and symbols of the twentieth century.

Day 3 - Travel to Pokhara (900m) by tourist bus 200km 6 hours
Early morning drive to Pokhara by tourist coach 200km (6hrs). Or fly to Pokhara 25 minutes, transfer to hotel. Evening visit around Lake & tourist market, dinner overnight, hotel in Lakeside.

Day 4 - Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1950m)
Start trek on foot follow half hour Modikhola, cross the river in Birethati, to follow Modi Khola valley. In the evening there is a” Mother group” dance program. You can enjoy dancing or singing with them.

Day 5 - Trek to Tadapani (2680m)
Visit the Gurung Museum and monastery with panoramic mountain views. Passing through the Rhododendrons Jungle.

Day 6 - Trek to Ghorepani (2850m) 5 hours
6.30 AM wakeup call, 7 AM breakfast, 8 AM start your trek. Climb down to Ghorepani inside the lush oak, rhododendron forest.
Day 7 - Dhauligiri range to Manaslu range Trek
Climb for sunrise view. We can see the Dhauligiri range to Manaslu range including the famous Mounthain peak Machhapurche “Fishtail”.Dinner in 6 PM with celebrate the last night in the mountains.

Day 8 - Trek to Naya Pool and drive to Pokhara
Our tourist coach is waiting in Nayapul. Transfer to the hotel and visit waterfall and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, return to the lakeside and boating an hour. Dinner at 7 PM, overnight in Pokhara.

Day 9 - Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist coach Or fly 25 min
Drive to Dam side for the best view and drop to tourist Bus Park. Fly to Kathmandu and shopping or relax in Kathmandu.

Day 10 - Drop to Airport for your own way journey
Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey or next trip .

Year Round

If you only have a few days or perhaps a few weeks then will do our utmost to make your Nepal trip as readable as possible. Together we can create a unique experience that is tailored to your available time, interests, ability. The best season for Ghandruk Ghorepani trek is March to May and October to December (fair weather in Nepal) but this trek can take place year round. The trek can be operated in both teahouses and under the canvas on request, as well as being able to combine with some other activities such as white water rafting 1-2 days and Chitwan wildlife safari 2/3 days. All the itineraries are subject to change to suit your holiday.

Manaslu Larke Pass Trekking Of Nepal Hiking

Manaslu Larkya Pass trekking is located at Mount Manaslu which is the northern part of Nepal. The name Manaslu is also known as the peak of Mt. Manaslu 8163 meter, the eighth highest peak in the world. Larkya Pass, 5213 meter high is laying down the feather of Mount Manaslu. Manaslu pass or Manaslu circuit is in Gorkha district legendary Gorkha soldiers. After the Larky pass, the trails catch Annapurna conservation area in Dharapani, which is Manang district of Nepal.

Basic Tea House / Guest house/ Tented Camp

Day 1 - Arrival at Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International airport, Asian Hiking Team representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2 - Kathmandu final preparation for trekking with guide city tour, Overnight Hotel
Kathmandu, being a historical and cultural heart of Nepal, is a popular destination for tourists, trekkers and adventure seekers. After finished your sightseeing trip you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 - Kathmandu to Aarkhet Bazaar (620m), 6 -9 hours, overnight hotel
Early morning drive to Prithivi Highway till to Malekhu Pul. It takes an 6 to 8 hours drive and we have lunch on the way the onto Aarughat, overnight in Lodge.

Day 4 - Aarkhet to Machhekhola (870m), 5-6 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House.
After breakfast, following the Budi Gandaki river, climbing briefly to Kyoropani, the path descends once again to the river of Soti Khola 1000m. We have to climb up once again on a trail to Machhekhaola 870m,Machhekhola means "Fish stream", overnight at Guest House 5 hours. .

Day 5 - MachheKhola to Jagat (1340m), 5-6 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House.
We cross the MachheKhola , head upstream to the tiny village of Khorla Bensi and the hot springs at Tatopani. At Lauri, we re-cross the river on a suspension bridge and then climb on a high path to the fields of Jagat 1340m, where we stay in Guest House, 5 hours.

Day 6 - Jagat to Deng (1860m), 5-6 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
After descending a long series of stone steps to the river, the trek climbs a terraced hill to Salleri, from where we can see the impressive Sringi Himal 7187m. Crossing Buri Gandaki River again at Gatte Khola, our route continues to Ekle Bhatti, Nyak then reach the village of Deng 1860m, where we overnight lodge, 5 hours.

Day 7 - Deng to Namrung (2630m), 5-6 hours 2300m, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
The valley is still steep- sided and most impressive. We gain altitude to take us into alpine territory and increasing mountain views. There are more Mani walls after Ghap and 3 more crossing of the Budi Gandaki on our route to Namrung (2630m), overnight at lodge.

Day 8 - Namrung to Lho (3180m), 4 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
Today is short day in our trekking because there are so magnificent views on the way to Lho. After breakfast start trekking pass Lihi cross Hinang river and climb to Sho then gradually up a large village at 3150m where there is a lovely little monastery. Overnight in Guest House.

Day 9 - Lho to Samagaou (3520m), 4-5 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
After breakfast, leaving the village of Lhogau, you follow the right bank of the river, with views of Peak 29 ahead. As you continue on the main trail, you soon reach the fields of Sama Gaon, 3520m, 4-5 hours, overnight hotel/ guest house.

Day 10 - Acclimatization rest day in Samagaou, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
This is a day for rest at Samagaon to give you some acclimatization. Surrounded by mountains in a peaceful forest, you take a breather to acclimatize and relax. Stay overnight at Lodge/Hotel.

Day 11 - Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3690m), 4-5 hours, takes about four hours Overnight Lodge /Guest House
You trek gently uphill all the way to Samdo through a desert path and windy valley. The Tibetan border is just four kilometers away from Samdo. This is an excellent view point for Mt. Manaslu, Samdo (Pang phuchuli), Nagdi chuli, Sonam Himal, Manaslu glacier, Manaslu ice fall and several other majestic peals. Stay overnight at Lodge in Samdo (3690m).

Day 12 - Trek to Larkya La Phedi (4460m) 4-5 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House.
Dharmashala or Larkya Phedi takes about 4/5 hours. The trail is rocky and zigzags all the way to your destination. Stay overnight at Tea house in Dharmasala.

Day 13- Trek from Larkya La Phedi to Larkya La (Pass) (5135m.) to Bimthang (3590m), 8-10 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
It takes about 8/10 hours. Early in the morning you begin to trek a steep ascending path until Larkya La through a rocky and windy trail. Stay overnight at Guest house in Bimthang (3590m) 8-10 hours trekking.

Day 14- Bhimtang to Tilije 2360m, 6-7 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House.
Trek from Bimthang to Tillje takes about six to seven hours. Crossing this high pasture, you descend the valley of the Purdin Khola to the area of the Base Camp for the West side of Manaslu. Overnight at Guest house.

Day 15 - Tilije to Tal (1700m), 5-6 hours, Overnight Lodge /Guest House
Leaving Tilje, you trek uphill for nearly 45 minutes to reach Dharapani crossing a bridge over the Marshyangdi River. Annapurna trail to Katre (Khotro) continues to Tal village which is very nice village in Marshyndi valley, Stay overnight at Guest, 5-6 hours trekking.

Day 16 - Tal to Besi Sahar (800m) by jeep or bus, Overnight Lodge /Hotel
Today we take Jeep to Besi Sahar 800m, 4-6 hours drive by local Jeep or bus. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17 - Besi Sahar to Kathmandu drive by tourist coach 4/5 hours, Overnight Hotel
Breakfast at 7 am and take a bus to Kathmandu. Its take 5-6 hours drive, stop for lunch on the way. Arrive in Balaju Bus Park, transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu or Pokhara, Overnight in Hotel.

Day 18- Departure from Nepal or next trip
Today is last day in your itinerary, last minute shopping for souvenirs. Asian Hiking Team staffs will be transferred to the international Airport for your departure flight schedule to your onward destination or next trip.

Autumn/spring fair weather in Nepal

Asian Hiking Team organizes Manaslu trekking as full board camping or Guest houses or home stay trekking at the client’s request. The guides have many years of guiding experience in the Manaslu region. Many of our guides originally came from that area. Our guides are trained in first aid and know how to handle any situation. We need to provide guides who can get people feel involved in what they are experiencing, explain it thoroughly and keep them entertained. They will facilitate the smooth running of the trek in the Manaslu Himalayas. Our porter carries 25 to 30 KG. Their first-hand experience, local knowledge, expertise and humour on treks are invaluable.

Everest Base Camp Trekking Hiking

Mount Everest South Base Camp is in Nepal at an altitude of 5,370 meters and at North Base Camp is in Tibet at 5,545 meters. Everest Base camp is a campsite on Mount Everest used by mountain climbers during their ascent and descent. South Base Camp is used when climbing via the southeast ridge as well as the base camp visitor, while North Base Camp is used when climbing via the northeast ridge. Everest Base Camp trekking on the south side is one of the most popular trekking routes in the Himalayas Nepal and is visited by thousands of trekkers each year. A really incredible experience to push your inner limits.

Hotel/Guest House/Lodge

Day 1 - Arrive in Kathmandu (1340m), transfer to Hotel, overnight Hotel
Arrive in Kathmandu meet our staff and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu, at 7-8 pm group meeting and tour briefing at hotel, overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 - City Sightseeing and preparation for trekking, overnight in Kathmandu (1340m)
Guided city tour; after breakfast, 9 AM start our city tour. Check equipment & shopping in Thamel, overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 - Phakding (2640m) - flight to Lukla (2840m) and 3/4 hours trekking to Phakding
In the morning, you fly from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu to Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 - Namche (3540m) - 5 hours trekking to Namche Bazar
To cross the west bank (right) of the Dudh koshi river, Continue through blue pine and rhododendron forests. First view of Mt. Everest between Lhotse & Nuptse reach 2 and half hours from Jorsule, overnight at Hotel.

Day 5 -Namche Bazaar - Rest day for Acclimatization
Today is rest day, Sherpa Museum & monasteries too, overnight at hotel

Day 6 - Tyangboche (3767m) - 4.30 hours trekking
The tail rise to the settle to the east of Sagarmatha Nation Park Museum (3520m), After hot lunch climb 2.20 hours to reach Tyngboche (3767m, after your arrival check hotel and visit monastery. Overnight at Guest house

Day 7 - Dingboche (4410m) – 5-6 hours trekking
Today, we start early around 7 to 8 o’clock. Monastery and small settlements inside the alpine forest. Overnight guest house/Lodge.

Day 8 - Lobuche (4900m) - 4-5 hours trekking
After breakfast, we start trekking climb the ride the hill. Over the hill with beautiful view of Tawache, Cholatse, Amadablam, Makalu, Island peak. Trek continues to Dukla 4680m, may we have lunch and climb to Dukla/Dhukla pass 4800m where many memorials monuments who died in Everest summit. Overnight at lodge.

Day 9 - Gorap-shep (5170m) – Everest Base Camp (5364m), 5/6 hours trekking
This is another big and difficult walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to the Everest Base Camp (5365 m). Early in the morning leaving Lobuje, overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 10 - Pheriche 4010m – 2 hours Kalapattar (5545m) climb and 5 hours trekking
After reaching Base camp of Everest our aim today is to trek Kalapattar (5545 meters) a small peak. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 11 - Khumjung (3870m) - 5 hours trekking
Following down and up trail from Pheriche to Khumjug. The trail also takes you to the area of the endangered Musked Deer, Himalayan Thar, and Pheasant Birds to the area of the Pine Forest. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12 - Phakding (2640m) - 4/5 hours trekking
Following up and down trail from Khumjung to Phakding. Stunning view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Overnight Hotel.

Day 13- Lukla - 3 hours trekking
Finally, we return to Lukla from where we have started our trek. 3 hours trekking, rest, final celebration day in mountain, overnight Hotel.

Day 14- Kathmandu - flight to Kathmandu, finish trip
On arrival in Kathmandu, we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel, end our trekking, shopping, relax, overnight in Hotel.

Day 15 - Spare Day in Kathmandu
One spare day in Kathmandu because of the domestic flight to/from Lukla is depending on weather. So if the flight is on time date and time may we can use this day sightseeing in Bhaktapur or Patan or your own shopping or visit in Kathmandu

Day 16 - Onward Journey - drop to airport/ next trip
The trip ends, our airport representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.

Asian Hiking Team organizes Everest Base camp trekking with Guest houses/Hotel trekking. The guides have many years of guiding experience in the Everest region. Many of the guides and porters originally came from Khumbu area. The guides are trained in first aid and know how to handle any situation. They provide guides who can get people feel involved in what they are experiencing, explain it thoroughly and keep them entertained. They can facilitate the smooth running and safe exploration of the Khumbu Himalayas. The porters carry 25 to 30 KG, those all are Rai or Sherpa ethnic groups and professional porters. Their first hand experience, local knowledge, expertise and humor on treks are invaluable.

Street food is a popular way of eating in Nepal. Most of us know, eating street food in Asia isn't one for the faint of stomach, there are no regulations but everything is generally lovingly prepared and totally delicious!
