Everest Base Camp Trek Trekking

The Everest Base Camp trek is one of our most popular treks in all of Nepal. Departing from Luka, you'll wind your way through the Khumbu region, following the Dudh Kosi valley, admiring incredible views as you go. The tour also sees you visiting Thyangboche Monastery located on top of a mountain ridge, hiking through Khumbu Glacier, and acclimatizing in the Chhukung Valley before marveling at the mighty Mount Everest. Get ready for a whirlwind Everest adventure that'll be difficult to beat!

This tour includes two nights accommodation at Kathmandu Suite Home (or a nearby hotel of similar standard) and 11 nights accommodation at locally owned guesthouse/ lodge during the trek. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included throughout.

Day 1
Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transferred to hotel Kathmandu Suite Home or nearby hotel of similar standard (breakfast included). Your trek leader will brief you about the trek plan and introduce you with your guide. If you arrive Kathmandu by noon, you may do a walking tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square (old palace) and local market of Asan Bazar.

Day 2
After taking early morning breakfast, you will drive to Airport (15 minutes) and enjoy a 30 – minute exciting flight to Lukla (2804 meters.). After meeting your trek crews, you will embark the first day trek to Phakding (2610 meters). Enjoying the view of landscape, villages, crossing a couple of streams, bridges, you will reach at Phakding in 3 hours. There is probability to get flight delay or cancel even in good season of October – November or March – April. If flight is on time, you will reach to Phakding on lunch time. In case of any delay you will stop for lunch in Lukla or after an hour walking from Lukla.

Day 3
After taking breakfast at around 7 am, you will start your 2nd day trek following Phakding village and local market; then you will cross an iron bridge over the Dudh Koshi river. After a couple of hours of easy trail following the river; you will arrive Manjo and Jorsali where you will stop for lunch. In Jorsale there is a Check Post for trek permit (Sagarmatha National Park office). After lunch you will register your trek permit on the check-post; then you will enter into Sagarmatha National Park zone. From here the trail descends for 10 minutes, cross the bridge and continue the trek following the Dudh Koshi river and the trail will gradually ascend until you reach the last high bridge over the Bhote Koshi river. From here the trail ascends steeply until you reach at Namche Bazar. It is approximately 6 hours trek.

Day 4
As you are already above 3000 meters, it’s recommended to spend 2 nights in Namche Bazar to avoid any risk of high altitude sickness with a side trip to Khumjung village or Thame. Today after breakfast, you go for day hiking to Syangboche, Khungde (3840 meters) and even further to Khumjung (3780 meters) or Thame as optional. It is also worth visiting to Sagarmatha National Park Museum as a side trip. This day you will be thrilled by overlooking the amazing views of Himalayan ranges including Amadablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru, Lhotse and Mount Everest.

Day 5
Today’s total trek duration will be approximately 5 – 6 hours. After leaving Namche Bazar, you will follow the well defined curving trail over looking the mountain views. After 1 hour trek you will reach at Khyangjumpa (3550 meters), where there are some guest houses and tea shops. This place also offers amazing view of Mount Ama Dablam. From here trail descends to Sanasa and then reach at Phunki Tenga (3150 meters) in one hour and 30 minutes. You may stop here for lunch. After crossing the river; the trail ascent following the delightful pine, rhododendron and birch forest. In 2 hours trek you will reach at Tengboche, situated on the hillside. This place offers excellent view of Mount Amadablam and glimpse of Mount Everest. While you are here in Tengboche, it would also be worth visiting the old “Tengboche Monastery” in the morning or evening a the time of prayers.

Day 6
As usual you will take breakfast at around 7 am and start the trek at 8 am. After leaving the Tengboche Monastery, you will trek down through pine and rhododendron forest and in about 20 minutes trek you will reach at Deboche (3820 meters). For another 20 minutes you continue your trek through the pine, rhododendron and birch forest until you reach at the bridge and ascent again after crossing the Imja river and after about 1 hour ascend you will reach at Pangboche (3930 meters). You will stop here for lunch.
Day 7
Now you are at the elevation of 4400 meters above the sea level! Congratulation, you are all fit and fine with the altitude. Though you will acclimatize here to avoid any further risk of altitude. After breakfast, your guide will take you for a hiking trip to Chhukung valley, then return to Dingboche by the evening. Do your best to get as high as possible up to Chhukung Ri (5546 meters) and don’t miss out to witness the Mt. Makalu, the 5th highest mountain in the world.

Day 8
No doubt, after the big days you are even much stronger for the Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar. On the way to Labajuje you will rewarded with impressive view of the Himalayas and reach at Labuje in 4 – 5 hours of your trek.

Day 9
This is your final goal for Everest Base Camp!! Today you will leave early morning (5 am) for Everest Base camp that will approximately take 3-4 hours to reach Ghorakshep (5160 meters); the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. You will stop at Ghorakshep for breakfast and then continue trek to Everest Base camp (3 hours) and return to Ghorakshep (2 hours) for overnight stay.

Day 10
Kalapathar is the best vantage point to observe the Mount Everest in closer range. Recommended to start your hike at 5 am (2 hours) to get to the top of Kalapathar; then return to Ghorakshep. After breakfast, you will trek down to Pheriche (4280 meters).

Day 11
Following the same trek routes, you will trek back to Namche Bazar via Pangboche and Tengboche, that will take about 7 hours to trek.

Day 12
Following the same trek route of Lukla – Namche Bazar, you will trek down to Lukla via Jorsale, Manjo and Phakding villages (7 hours).

Day 13
After early morning breakfast you should get ready for your return flight to Kathmandu. Depending on weather condition, the flight may be early morning or late morning or even afternoon.

Day 14
After breakfast your guide or representative of NepalHiking will arrange a car for your transfer to the airport; and then bid farewell with safe flight. And you will return home by collecting all wonderful memories you have had during 2 weeks in Nepal.

September - June.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek Trekking

This unique trek takes you through the beautiful foothills of Annapurna South as you experience the thrilling high of the Himalayas. As you take a gentle trek through the mountains, enjoying the views as you go, you'll be surrounded by snow-capped peaks and traditional villages. There are several ascents and descents to encounter on the way, but these are not too challenging for the inexperienced walker, and there are several alternative trails that eventually meet at the Gurung village of Chhomorong, the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp. Get ready to enjoy spectacular sunrise views of the Himalaya ranges from Poon Hill, experience Annapurna base camp, and visit a traditional Gurung village!

Day 1
Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 2
After breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, we transfer you to the airport to board a 30 minutes exciting flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara airport, our guide will pick you up and drive to Nayapul (45 minutes, 1 hour car drive) from where the trek starts! After 15 minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops & teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m & after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1525m. This trek offers a short & relatively easy day, during journey & allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 3
Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour gentle walk from Nangethanti, we will reach at Ghorepani at 2775m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 4
This morning, we will get up early and hike to Poon Hill. From here we will see superb view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Fishtail, and many more. After an excursion to Poon Hill, we will go back to our hotel; take a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Tadapani. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 5
The day starts with a steep downhill trek. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people. We then take an easy walk to Chhomorung (2020m). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 6
Today the trail drops down to the Chhomorung Khola & again we continue climbing to Khudighar at 2380m where there is an ACAP Check post. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 7
The day begins with the climb through bamboo, then rhododendron forests to Dovan, Himalayan hotel and on to Hinko at 3020m. The accommodation will be in Deurali, on the ridge above Hinko & is the stretch of trail that is most subject to avalanche. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 8
Today the trail climbs on past the Machhapuchhare Base Camp (which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted) to the Annapurna Base Camp. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. We can either end the day at Machhapuchhare Base Camp or trek two hours on to Annapurna Base Camp. There, we will view the mountain scenery which is even more spectacular. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 9
Explore the hidden Valley in the morning and trek back to Dovan. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 10
Trek to Jhinu Danda (hot spring). Enjoy the evening at hot spring. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 11
On this day, we will enjoy the views of waterfalls, landscapes, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Fishtail and many more. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.

Day 12
Early morning we can enjoy the view of Sunrise, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapurchre & the countryside. After breakfst, we take a 2 hours easy downhill walk to Phedi where the road links to Pokhara. It is simply half an hour drive to Pokhara from Phedi. Afternoon relaxing or shopping on your own in Pokhara. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 13
Drive back to Kathmandu by car / van. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 14
Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey. Farewell!

Gokyo Lake- Chola Pass- Everest Base Camp Trekking

This 18-day trek takes you on a whirlwind adventure that soaks up the very best of Nepal as you visit Goyo Lake, trek through the Chola Pass, and make your way to the famous Everest Base Camp. The trek also gives the benefit of summiting Gokyo Peak (5483 meters), offering a fantastic panoramic view of Cho Oyo, Everest, and Makalu! The trek can be treated as one of the adventurous treks in the Himalayas, but you will be accompanied by a friendly, helpful English speaking guide and a strong porter to carry your heavy trekking bag. Get ready to enjoy spectacular mountains views, visit traditional Sherpa villages, and spend a night sleeping aside Goyo lake.

Day 1
Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be welcomed by our Office Representative, and transferred to hotel.

Day 2
Early morning drive to Airport and a 30 minute amazing flight will bring you to Lukla Airport; also known as Tenjing Hillary Airport (2804 meters) and trek to Phakding (2610 meters; 3 hours easy walking).

Day 3
You will trek through the bank of Dudh Koshi river crossing the suspension bridge over the river and trek gradually up and in 6 hours walking you will reach at Namche Bazar; the gate way to Gokyo vallery and Everest Base Camp.

Day 4
Today you will hike up to the Syangboche Airport (3800 meters), and around the Everest View Hotel and return to Namche Bazar by late afternoon. Doing so, you will adapt the new environment and the altitude. From this point, you will see rewarding views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest with a stunning sunrise or sunset over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks.

Day 5
After a delicious breakfast, you will start your trek to Phortse Drengka (approximately 6 hours walking). During the walk, you will enjoy the view of spacious valley, great view of snow peak mountain of Kusum Kangaru, Ama Dablam and a glimpse of the Mount. Everest.

Day 6
Today’s walk will be approximately 6 hours; take plenty of water.

Day 7
Today’s walk will be just a 4 hour and rewarding one! Enjoy the hike to Gokyo Lake. Enjoy 2 nights stay just near the lake!

Day 8
Early morning you will go hiking to Gokyo Ri (5483 meters, 1 hour 30 minute hiking); return to Gokyo lake; then after lunch day hiking to 4th lake (north of Gokyo Valley). You will enjoy stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas, such as giants as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu (8481meters), Cho-Oyu (8153 meters) and Gychung Kang (7922 meters). After having lunch at Gokyo Lake, you will hike to 4th lake (north of Gokyo Valley), and enjoy the pyramid view of Mount Everest and return to Gokyo Lake for overnight stay.

Day 9
Trek to Thangna (foot of the Cho-La pass – 5 hours walking).

Day 10
Get up early morning to cross the Cho-La (5330 meters), and trek to Labuje (4910 meters) via Dzongla (4830 meters). Approximately 7 hours walking.

Day 11
Today early in the morning we will leave Labuche and hike to Ghorakshep (5160 meters); take a hot breakfast there; then continue a hiking to Everest Base Camp (5400 meters), and return to Ghorakshep. Approximately 7 hours walking.

Day 12
Early in the morning leaving Ghorakshep, you will hike up to Kalapathar (5545 meters) for close up and rewarding view of Mt. Everest (8848 meters) and then trek back to Pheriche (4200 meters) via Ghorakshep and Labuje. Approximately 7 hours walking.

Day 13
Enjoy your hike down to Namche Bazar through the Sherpa villages such as Pangboche, Tengboche monastery and Sanasa.

Day 14
Enjoy your last day walking to Lukla through the Dudhkoshi valley and the Sherpa settlement. Approximately 7 hours walking.

Day 15
Depending on weather condition, your flight may be early morning (between 7-8 am) or even at noon. If no flight delay or cancel, you will return to Kathmandu this day.

Day 16 & 17
Leisure day in Kathmandu (it’s also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla). If you return to Kathmandu as per schedule (day 15), strolling round the Kathmandu valley with some heritage tours will be recommended or you can even go to Pokhara; a beautiful city (200 k.m, 6 hours drive / 30 minutes by flight).

Day 18
We will arrange a car transfer to airport to board your flight back home. We believe you will return home remembering all the wonderful days in Nepal with us.
