Rocky Point Kayak Centre is the meeting point for all courses, rental of equipment, weekly summer camps etc. It is located in the new Rocky Point Adventure Centre building located at the foot of the boat launch at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.

This lesson will provide you with information on how to rescue yourself and others. This will definitely increase your confidence on the water. This course focuses on wet exits, solo recoveries, and assisted rescues.
These skills are required by many rental companies if you were considering renting a kayak on your own. Wetsuits and other necessary gear provided.

In this course Rocky Point Kayak and Rocky Point Sailing Association offer local school districts an opportunity to experience both water sports during their visit to Rocky Point. This program includes half day sailing instruction and half day guided kayak tour.

Only for students
This is a course for students. They are split into two groups. One group will venture out in double kayaks for an Inlet tour with basic kayak instruction, and the other will get in wet suits and learn basic SUP skills and safely. In the afternoon, the groups will switch activities. All students must participate in both kayaking and SUP.

This is a combined program that includes Level 1 and Level 2. We host this program every Saturday. This package is recommend to be taken in two separate sessions and includes a two hour single kayak gift voucher. Don't forget your swimsuit, change of clothes, towel and lunch.

This is a tour of 2,5 hours. It is a guided paddle with a relaxing exploration of the Burrard Inlet and the shoreline around Rocky Point Park. Our guides will educate your group about the local history, environmental features of the Inlet, and the local businesses that share our port.

This is a great lesson to start with if you have no previous kayak experience. Our experienced instructors will lead you in our protected inlet, and cover the essential components of ocean kayaking. The lesson will cover information regarding your kayak and gear, water safety, stroke development, and landing and launching.

It will take you and your dad on a relaxing exploration of the Burrard Inlet and the shoreline around Rocky Point Park. Relaxing exploration of the Burrard Inlet

This trip will take you out at sunset to explore the shallows of the Burrard Inlet with it's many nocturnal marine mammals and bird life. We then detour to visit our large harbour seal colony and make efforts to get up close to our residential eagle and osprey nests. Our last part of the trip is when we leisurely paddle back by the light of the moon.

Our popular kids paddle camp is a great opportunity for your child to get out on the water. We will explore Rocky Point's abundant marine life, and have some fun. Your child will receive enthusiastic and experienced instruction from our Paddle Canada certified Kayak and SUP instructors.

On water every day
This 2 hour introduction to Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) will teach your group the fundamentals of Stand Up Paddleboarding. The introduction course is for students. The course will focus on stance/balance, proper paddling techniques and ocean safety. Wetsuits and spray top are included.

This is a unique and fun way to change your current workout routine. PaddleFit offers a combination of the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) with the strength and conditioning fitness to give you a full body workout. The price includes 4 lessons.

Workout on the water
Our SUP Yoga classes are taught on the water on floating boards. Your "yoga mat" is the stand up paddleboard. Nature is your studio and all the elements have been invited - sun, wind, water and maybe the seals. Explore the inlet, admire nature, and gain confidence and strength with fitness and yoga on the water. The price includes 4 lessons.

This camp is a weekly one for kids of the age of 10-14 to learn SUP, stand up paddle board. The hours are 9:00AM - 12:30PM. No previous experience required. This is a great camp for those looking to learn stand up paddle boarding in our calm sheltered waters.

Rocky Point Kayak does not offer any accommodation.
The centre is located in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada. Just 25 minutes drive from Downtown Vancouver.

We offer kayak lessons of different timeline, as well as weekly camp for kids in the summer. We also offer rental of kayaks and SUP.
