Jaco

Jaco can be described as many things, but boring isn’t one of them. As Costa Rica’s most-visited party town, you can expect your daily agenda to look something like this: surf, eat, party, sleep, repeat. The town itself is a bit edgy and grungy, but the waves are pristine and almost too pretty to ride.

A lot of the breaks here are completely exposed to the Pacific swell coming in from the South and the mix of lefts and rights keeps things interesting for more advanced surfers. But don’t worry, even if you’re new to this, there are plenty of beginner-friendly waves here.
